Our Story

In our endeavour to capture the essence of what a New Zealand social or hospitality experience should be, Saint Alice was born.

Overlooking Auckland’s Viaduct Harbour our spacious bar and sun-soaked eatery is the perfect blend of sea views, beer, wine & cocktails, live entertainment and a mouthwatering locally inspired menu.

Our food menu is made for sharing and focused around seasonal produce and the freshest kaimoana (seafood), alongside a delicious wood fired pizza menu.

We are forever evolving, changing with the seasons and local inspirations, while staying true to our philosophy of delivering simple food, drink and entertainment with love.

Enjoy the vibrant offerings, take in the sweeping ocean views and let Alice look after you for a while.

Maia Atvars

Head Chef of Saint Alice

Inspiration can come from anywhere, memories of food you used to eat when you were a kid, to putting a cheeky little twist on something classic.

The Saint Alice menu will be forever evolving, designed to be simple food made with love. Changing with the seasons while keeping a focus on fresh kaimoana.

The Denizen

“Saint Alice is in a genre of its own. It crosses the boundaries between laid-back eatery, brasserie and bar. Yet with ex-Depot chef Maia Atvars at the helm, the food definitely takes front-row status.”

Heart of The City

“Don’t delay, get yourself and a group of friends down to this beautiful space today.”

The Urban List

“Soaking up sunny rays and epic views of the Viaduct, Saint Alice is in a league of its own.”

“Head up the escalator to Dr Rudi’s and turn left instead of right and you’ll find yourself in Saint Alice. The white-walled, spacious bar and eatery, which has taken over the old Kermadec site, has the same sunset and people-watching combo view of the Viaduct.”
